Brush With the Law helps beautify this very loving community garden by helping to build and paint wooden entrance gates and create mosaic wooden numbered plot stakes using tiles, glass, etc. in bright and reflective surfaces that add beauty and deter rodents. Tiles and glass were donated by Santoro Tiles in Norristown and Castle Studio in North Wales, PA.

    Brush With the Law art project community service volunteers helped design and add paint, glass, tiles to pieces of furniture that would have gone to landfill, giving fresh, new, creative looks to the pieces and making them useful or as decorative pieces once again.

The vegetables grown at this garden helps to feed residents of the homeless shelter RHD’s Coordinated Homeless Outreach Center as well as provides cooking classes that help teach about the value of growing your own vegetables and how to prepare them.

Purpose:
