Penn Foundation Rehabilitation Center Mural @Village of Hope
Penn Foundation – rehabilitation facility for addiction and mental health – located in Sellersville, PA. Brush With the Law worked together with both patients and staff on an exterior mural of brain neurons (responsible for releasing dopamine) on the stairwell of the Village of Hope women’s residence located on the Penn Foundation campus. Brush With the Law board member, Ryan Schweiger who works at the Penn Foundation led this amazing mural from the start by getting the necessary permissions to make it happen. Ryan was also able to get Ryan Leaf, former NFL quarterback for the San Diego Chargers and Dallas Cowboys, to sign the mural when he came to the Penn foundation to give an inspirational talk on addiciton. The Village of Hope is a live-in residence program for people who are Bucks County homeless and in recovery from drug/alcohol addiction to have a safe place to live while working towards a brighter future.
Ryan Schweiger, board member, and Maria Maneos, director installing the mural in stairwell.
